Tasting Notes…
In 1952 Ernesto Guevara ventured on a magical journey through the wilderness of Patagonia on his precious Norton 500 which he nicknamed La Poderosa – the powerful one. The journey was immortalised in the film Motorcycle Diaries. La Poderosa Sauvignon Blanc is a fine example of Chilean Sauvignon; it is brilliant pale straw-yellow colour. The green bean and asparagus nose, also has aromas of citrus fruit backed by an appealing herbaceous note. The palate is typical with fresh, fruity flavours reminiscent of gooseberry and melon, followed by an atypical finish of marzipan hints .
