Made from only the finest individually hand-harvested grapes, Te Mata Awatea Cabernet / Merlot is a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, which results in an opulent, dark crimson colour with lifted floral, ripe blackberry, cedar and spice aromas. The palate is laden with delicious rich dark cherry, chocolate and Provence herb flavours, harmonised with a silky, persistent tannin finish. This fabulous wine will continue to evolve in bottle until at least 2019
