Made from only the finest individually hand-harvested grapes, Te Mata Elston Chardonnay is a light golden colour with intense fresh pineapple and peach characters combining with lemon, oatmeal, cream and vanilla notes. It is a rich, complex wine balanced with fresh acidity, leading to a delicious long finish. Elston Chardonnay will continue to evolve in bottle until at least 2014
Te Mata’s premium wines are bottled with leading technology corks. These are produced using liquid carbon dioxide which eliminates any possibility of cork taint and, when the wine is well cellared, they provide consistent evolution for every bottle
